Questions before you buy
Will it fit my vehicle?
The Large cover is approx. 110 × 160 cm (43 × 63 in, supplier measurement). It fits most cars, crossovers and SUVs. Please measure your windshield before ordering: large pickups and minivans may be borderline. Buyers have used it on cars like a Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla hatchback and Honda Jazz/Fit. If it doesn’t fit, you can return it within 14 days of delivery, unused and in the original packaging.
Can it be stolen or blow off?
The side flaps close inside your front doors, so the cover can’t be pulled off without opening the doors. The five small edge magnets are only helpers that keep the bottom edge down on the hood; they won’t hold it on their own. In strong wind, tuck the flaps in snugly before you close the doors.
Will it freeze to my windshield?
It can if water gets under it. Put it on dry glass (wipe off water or slush first) and keep the side flaps closed snugly in the doors. If the edges are frozen in the morning, start the car, run the defrost for a few minutes, then lift it off. Don't yank it.
Does it cover the side mirrors?
Yes. Two elastic mirror covers (with a lime-green band) are attached, so your mirrors stay clear too.
Will the magnets scratch my paint?
Place the cover on clean, dry paint. Grit trapped under any magnet is what scratches, so wipe the spot first, and lift the cover off rather than dragging it.
Why not a $20 store cover?
A store cover may do the job, and if one already works for you, keep it. Is it just a thin sheet?
It is thin, and that’s on purpose: a light silver film cover with a black underside, not a thick padded blanket. Being thin is what makes it quick to lay on, easy to pull off and shake out, and small enough to fold into its own pouch. What you pay for is the full kit: the windshield cover, door flaps, two mirror covers, edge magnets and the pouch. It keeps snow and frost off the glass it covers; it isn’t insulation.
When will it arrive?
Orders are processed in 3–5 business days; delivery time varies by region. Shipping is free, and your tracking link is emailed to you once your order is fulfilled. If you want it ready for the first big snowfall, ordering ahead is a smart move.

Why we sell DawnClear™
We're a small online store run from Winnipeg, so we know winter mornings. DawnClear™ is our name for a simple magnetic windshield cover: a thin, foldable silver cover with a black underside, edge magnets, door flaps and two mirror covers.
